Michael: I'm all for checking out the truck serving burgers between grilled cheese sandwiches! Sounds ridiculously good.

Colin: thanks for the correction, and wow, nice work! That truck is a real head-turner.

slight correction: Maximus is not a modified Airstream. it was built off a very square 8x28-foot lunch truck. believe me, there were days I wished they'd given me a nice curved Airsteam.

That bus is the awesomest thing I have ever seen. It's like the Catbus from Totoro, only better, because even if it doesn't find lost sisters, it serves sandwiches. I'll have to check it out the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

I have to agree with Rebekah Denn on the license plate! Clever-indeed! I'm intrigued by the growing popularity of food trucks and mobile food in the Northwest. We were blown away by them in PDX. There are literrally parking lots full of them. Many on our list for the July trip, including one that Kye and Eric heard about from locals, in which a burger is served with two grilled cheese sandwiches as the bun! (yeah, I know!)

I love pork sammy's, but I think Robin and I will wait a few weeks before checking out Max/Min.

What a fair and thoughtful write-up. I would agree with you re: the verdict on the food. It was fine, but I'll probably give it another month or two before I try it again to see if it's improved.
