We had been thinking about traveling to Spain for a few years, but it was settled when, in Autumn of 2004, we managed to get a reservation at El Bulli restaurant for the following September. Barcelona and San Sebastián were top on our list, so we put together a driving itinerary that took us around the Pyrénées, starting and ending in Barcelona.
